CheeseFest returns with a brie-lliant line-up of SA’s best cheeses and food producers

South Australia’s best cheeses, food producers, chefs and beverages will come together in over 80 stalls at CheeseFest 2024, held at Rundle Park, Kadlitpina, on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 of October 2024.
Across two days, attendees can indulge in the range of flavours and textures of different cheeses, watch demonstrations and join masterclasses that focus on deepening their understanding of cheese and wine. Visitors can try treats from 20 cheese stalls, including popular names such as Barossa Valley Cheese Company, Milawa Cheese, Udder Delights, Long Paddock Cheese and Woodside Cheese Wrights.
Minister for Tourism, Zoe Bettison, said CheeseFest is a wonderful representation of why the state is the national leader in food and wine.
“It is wonderful to welcome back CheeseFest for its 19th year of showcasing South Australia’s world-class food and beverage – particularly the diverse and delicious cheese and wine our state is globally renowned for,” Minister Bettison said.
“Not only does the festival draw food lovers and festival goers into our city, but it inspires attendees to head out into our regions and visit the many wineries, distilleries, restaurants, and storefronts for another bite or sip South Australia’s stunning produce.”
Director, Kris Lloyd AM, said CheeseFest 2024 will have a strong focus on teaching about quality local produce and drinks.
“Our fabulous CheeseFest community is hungry for knowledge, and we create the perfect platform for sharing and learning with so many of the makers themselves attending and a bunch of experts to guide us through carefully curated masterclasses,” she said.
“Come along and you will discover new things about cheese, wine, and the incredible local producers we’re showcasing. Plus, it’s a chance to support our local South Australian community,” Kris concluded.
CheeseFest 2024 will be held at Rundle Park/Kadlitpina.
> Saturday, 19 October from 11 am to 8 pm
> Sunday, 20 October from 11 am to 6 pm.
