JamFactory named SA Brand of the Year at the 2024 SALIFE Awards

The winners of the 2024 SALIFE Awards, presented by Brand South Australia were announced last night at The Piccadilly.
More than 300 guests celebrated some of our state’s most talented, recognising and honouring the innovation, creativity and magnificence that our state produces.
Minister for Trade & Investment Joe Szakacs gave his “huge congratulations” to all of the winners.
“I am delighted to see some extremely talented and hard-working people receive the recognition they truly deserve,” he said.
“We have a lot to celebrate as a state. Backed by our business community and local leaders, we’ve grown our state’s reputation as the home of world-class produce, the best events in the country, and a place where new ideas are born.
“Brand SA, as the custodian of the South Australian State Brand, is proud to support this important celebration of South Australian excellence.”

South Australia's unique, highly entrepreneurial not-for-profit arts organisation, JamFactory took out the honour of being named South Australian Brand of the Year.
JamFactory has been promoting and celebrating innovative craft and design, through their studios, galleries and shops for over 50 years. Located in Adelaide’s West End Creative Precinct, with a secondary site at Seppeltsfield, Barossa Valley, JamFactory is recognised globally as a centre for excellence.
In his acceptance speech JamFactory CEO Brain Parkes noted that "there's nothing like JamFactory anywhere else in the country, that it's uniquely South Australian, and a unique cultural asset".
He said it was particularly gratifying to win the SA Brand of the Year Award as a testament to their passionate, dedicated staff who believe deeply in what they do team, with special mention to their in-house marketing and communications team who make sure everything JamFactory does looks great and reflects what their brand stands for.
Other winners celebrated last night include was SALIFE Person of the Year, Katherine Bennell-Pegg, Australia’s first female astronaut and our first astronaut working under the Australian flag. An inspiration to everyone, she sums up the limitless possibilities of our state, as well as Inspiring Future Leader, athlete Hugo Taheny.
