South Australian Brand of the Year finalists announced for the 2023 SALIFE Absolute Best Awards

The wait is over.. the finalists in this year’s SALIFE Absolute Best Awards have been announced. As presenting partner, Brand SA are thrilled to see so many innovative businesses, brands and people nominated.

Brand SA will also be awarding a new category the ‘South Australian Brand of the Year’ Award. The three outstanding finalists were chosen as they were able to demonstrate quality, innovation, creativity or sustainability and illicit pride in our community.

ETIKETTE CANDLES

Etikette

Founded by sisters Ella and Georgia Walker, Etikette Candles are a female-owned and much-loved South Australian fragrance company, based in the Adelaide Hills.

Etikette create soy wax candles and eco reed diffusers by hand, sharing stories of the Australian landscape through the power of scent and memories. Their beautiful fragrances include beloved locations across Australia, like our very own Barossa, Middleton and Kangaroo Island.

Fleurieu Milk Company

Farmers are the heart and soul of Fleurieu Milk Company, a 100% South Australian family-owned milk processing factory based in Myponga.

Established by three farming families in 2006, Fleurieu Milk Company produce premium fresh milk and yoghurt products for the retail and food service markets, and is recognised as a passionate supporter of local dairy farmers and the community.

The company is committed to the values of quality, customer service, passion and family and community.

In a South Australian first, Fleurieu Milk recently launched a new refillable milk bottle program which promises to reduce the amount of single-use plastic in the dairy industry.

Gluttony is a vibrant, popular outdoor venue hub for the Adelaide Fringe, set in the beautiful surrounds of Rymill Park in Adelaide’s East End.

Starting as a small food and wine event during Adelaide Fringe, Gluttony became an official Adelaide Fringe venue in 2011, spanning three bespoke entertainment venues and hasn't looked back!

Gluttony has quickly expanded its reach into festivals with the Lucky Dumpling Market at OzAsia Festival, Glenelg Winter Arts Festival, touring shows such as Borealis, New Year’s Eve fireworks with City of Adelaide, various music festivals and light shows.

Gluttony’s aim is to create the most inclusive and inspiring South Australian owned and operated events company that brings joy and happiness to all.

ABSOLUTE BEST AWARDS

The Absolute Best Awards feature 14 categories celebrating the finest in local food, drink, travel, art, sustainability, social impact and design, as well as the individuals and businesses leading the way in their fields.

The winners will be announced on 7 December 2023 at a glittering awards ceremony at the Adelaide Festival Theatre.

Afterwards, the winners, VIPs, guests and SALIFE team will kick off the celebrations at a fantastic open air after-party on Festival Plaza. Everyone is invited – purchase your ticket here.
